Wizards’ September 21 Comprehensive Rules update adds CR 506.6, defining when a creature “attacks a player alone,” chiefly for Reality Fracture’s Jiang Yanggu, Alone. As EDHREC notes, that is distinct from the existing “attacks alone” language that governs Exalted, so creatures entering attacking do not turn the new player-specific check into an Exalted loophole.
